The main menu navbar appears under the heading atop every page and lists the 7 main web sections. Those sections are also represented in icon form at the bottom of every page (see footer). A 'Contact Us' email link also appears in each footer.
Look for the icon to the left of the page title or header. It shows what section you are in and serves as a 'jump' button back to the main menu of that section.
As you surf between sections you'll encounter blue margin menus like those on this page. These are designed to show you specific options within a given web section. They are not universal and will change as you move between sections or may disappear altogether.
The red right-hand margin menus on each review page serve a different purpose. These little guys are designed to connect you with just about everything you might want to know about a particular trail, from current trail weather, to maps and more. Here's a working example:
We realize that the changing margin menus may be disconcerting to first time visitors and take some getting used to. But in return for that minor inconvenience you get more concise, uncluttered pages where you can quickly locate anything that's available in a given review or web section. As a result, you should seldom say, "I can't seem to find that page I was reading earlier. Where is it hiding?!" And if you DO have such a problem, be sure to let us know.
So give yourself some time to adjust as you peruse our pages, then tell us what you think!
