Opening Friday (Aug 3) with a 3:30 p.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony, the new Lake Erie Parkway and Hy-Miler Boulevard will link existing Maple Avenue to Cleveland Road West near the Rye Beach Road-Ohio 2 interchange. Officials with the city, Huron City Schools and District Petroleum Products Inc. hope their joint project will route Woodlands Elementary School traffic around residential areas and create room for commercial development. ...where (or if) parking will be available along this road is undetermined at this time.
The new Lake Erie Parkway at the west end of this trail is signed "No Parking" along the road on both sides; so parking is not recommended on Lake Erie Parkway.
