The Holmesville Trailhead for the Holmes County Trail actually lies south of the village at Rt. 83. Trailhead parking and facilites can be obscured by foilage in summer. Look for the short asphalt spur just south of the Rt. 83 trail tunnel. Take the spur up to street level to find food and restroom facilities. The red route through Holmesville is a road ride around a short gap in the trail. Currently the 14-mile Brinkhaven to Killbuck section is closed and under development.
