Your Location On The Trail:

Licking County, approximately 10 miles east of downtown Newark. The east endpoint of the Blackhand Gorge Trail is in Toboso. The trail lies just south of Hanover, which is east of Newark, OH. See Trail Specs for parking locations.

Notes: The Gorge Trail is close to the east end of the Panhandle Trail. The connecting road routes between the two are shown in yellow. Nashport Road is Rt. 146. The Brownsville Road route is 1.2 miles long, while the Toboso Road route is 2.3 miles. Please note that these roads are not bike friendly.
